5/17/2023 0 Comments Mage glyphsGlyph of Snowfall - Your Frostbolt, Flurry, and Blizzard spells now conjure snow instead of ice. (Makes it so your spells have a much more bass-heavy sound to them, their current sounds are very wispy and light, kinda heavy on the treble.) Glyph of Resonant Impact - Your Arcane spells now warp the sound waves around them. (Same animations as currently, but a different color palette for those that liked the old color schemes of Arcane pre-Legion.) Glyph of Forgotten Magics - Your Arcane spells are now more purple and blue in color. (Fire Mage talent Meteor would come down as 6-8 smaller meteors broken up into pieces, kinda like Frost’s Comet Storm.) It would still function the same though, only cosmetic changes. Glyph of Meteor Shower - Your Meteor spell is now fragmented into multiple flaming boulders. (The spell would be light pinkish/purple on the inside, with dark wavy purples on the edges, similar to a lot of the Arcane we saw from Nightborne in Legion.)Īside from the Intellect glyphs, here were some other ideas I had. Glyph of Ancient Brilliance - Your Arcane Intellect now resembles magic of the past. (The spell would be wispy, almost transparent light blue with icy, fog / mist covered dark blue hard edges.) Glyph of Frozen Brilliance - Your Arcane Intellect now has a more chilled appearance. ![]() (The spell would be red with the edges of the animation burning bright yellow / orange like Fire mage spells.) Glyph of Burning Brilliance - Your Arcane Intellect now has a more fiery appearance. ![]() Since they’ve already got two different versions of our Intellect spell, both based in Arcane themes, why not expand and have more out of the other schools and a third alternative Arcane variant? ![]() Glad to have Dalaran Brilliance back (even if it’s not entirely it’s old self with a separate icon) but on note of that, let’s discuss different ideas for glyphs that are in line with how they’re usually done.
